Arcadia Jungle Dawn LED Bars

No Stripes No Purple Colour No Hazing Just pure full spectrum energy

The Arcadia Reptile Jungle Dawn LED BAR is sleek, bold, powerful and able to deliver the energy that is needed to allow plants to grow by increasing visible light levels within terraria. This clever system uses the very latest ‘High OutPut’ LED diodes to create an almighty 130+ lumens per watt. Use a bar on top of a mesh or fit a bar inside of a vivarium.

LED Configuration
  • The configuration of an LEDs within a lamp is just as important as its spectrum and output in terms of potential plant growth and illuminated area.
  • As with all life, plants are reliant on the quantity and quality of energy that is available to them via a light source. The greater the quantity of light, and over a wide enough area equates to better potential results.
  • A light source of any type can only produce a certain number of photons (parcels/packages of energy) as ‘total light output’. As light travels forwards it starts to spread out to cover a greater area. The further away a lamp is placed, the greater the area is that will be covered with light. This is a sharing or spreading of energy over a target, therefore the measured energy within light becomes weaker the further away a lamp is from the target.

To ensure that we have the maximum amount of light possible entering an enclosure we must use enough diodes, placed at the correct distance from each other and with a suitable spectrum, colour and lumen output. A reduction in the number of diodes, regardless of rated wattage can equate to ‘zoning’, areas that are very bright and areas that are darker. We must ensure that all light sources project a ‘flood’, this provides better results and reduces any risk of ocular damage associated with point source lamps.

  • Easy set up
This easy-to-use Kit can be fixed easily inside of a vivarium, rested upon a wire meshed glassed terrarium, hung above an enclosure or hung within (where safe to do so). Its sleek design and specially curved reflector will ensure that you take up less space but project as much light forward as possible.
  • Linking Multiple Units

The link cable will allow for up to 10 light units from one power source, including the Jungle Dawn LED BAR kit.

  • ProT5 is ‘Small but mighty’

This is due to the type of reflector that is included. Easy to remove and clean, the reflector has 2 angles of reflection from each curve. This means that it projects high levels of UV-rich light directly beneath unit at around 12”/30cm to create a basking zone but then light also spreads out over distance to provides a wide flood. This will allow you to create a suitable UV-B provision for any species and over a suitably wide area.

Linking, YES!
Easily link with other LED BARs or with ProT5 UV-B system, reducing the number of wall sockets required per enclosure. Each Unit arrives with a power cable with integrated switch, fittings kit and a ‘Link’ cable. LED BAR and ProT5 are perfect partners, both working hard to fill the UV and visible spectrum. With quality and safety at its core.
