The digestive tract is the place where food breaks down into simpler forms that are used for proper functioning of the body. Those forms are absorbed into the blood or lymph through the intestinal wall. If the food is not digested properly or long enough, it may lead to weakening of the organism due to the defi cit of nutrients. The recipe is based on duck meat enriched with hydrolyzed salmon protein whose particles are small enough so as not to cause an allergic reaction and, moreover, they are highly digestible. The food contains functional ingredients such as fennel seed and aniseed which have a beneficial effect on the gastrointestinal tract and smooth digestion.

Results have shown that after 2 months of being fed this diet, the health status of the dogs improves. Acceptance of food is high and 70 % of dogs gain weight as a result of the improved digestion. The digestibility of diet and gut health is confirmed with an improvement in the faecal score by 56 %.

Indications: gastritis, colitis, enteritis, acute and chronic diarrhoea, malabsorption, maldigestion, anorexia, food allergies manifested by skin or gastrointestinal symptoms, improving the condition in emaciated animals, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.

Contraindications: pancreatitis, lymphangiectasis, hyperlipidaemia.
Do not use for puppies and pregnant or nursing dogs.

Ingredients: rice, dehydrated duck meat, sweet potatoes, hydrolyzed salmon protein 8 %, fish oil, hydrolyzed duck liver, flaxseed, FOS (fructooligosaccharides), mixture of herbs and algae (Urtica dioica, Echinacea purpurea, Ascophyllum nodosum), MOS (mannanoligosaccharides), fennel and aniseed complex, additives (vitamins, trace elements, amino acids).

Echinacea Purpurea - contains interferon, echinacoside and echinacein, that help eliminate pathogenic microorganisms; significantly helps to strengthen immunity.

Urtica dioica - has a positive effect on the liver, stomach and urinarytract; promotesdigestion and helpsdetoxifythe body.
