“Meal or Treat” steamed sausage, easy to store at room temperature! The Herbafix sausage range is a pure product, made from 92% fresh horse that is lightly steamed. By lightly steaming, the product can be stored at room temperature. Once the packaging is opened, it can be kept in the refrigerator for 4 days.
Feeding Guidelines
Would you like to give the sausages as a meal? That's fine, as they are enriched with minerals and vitamins.
The guideline for daily amount is calculated by taking 30 grams per kg of body weight. For example, a dog weighing 20 kg may have 600 grams per day.
- NORMAL: 30 grams per kg of body weight per day
- PUPPY: up to 6 months: 40 grams per kg bodyweight per day
- STERILIZED / OVERWEIGHT: 20 grams per kg of body weight per day
The Herbafix Sausage is ideal to combine with Herbafix cold pressed food.
A half-day portion of Herbafix kibble in the morning and a half-day portion of sausage in the evening. A 20 kg dog, not castrated/sterilized, will get 300 grams of sausage (50% x 600g) and 135 grams of HerbaFix dog food (50% x 270 grams) in this example. This way you can calculate all possible combinations.
