Tetra BB Bio Balls are spherical pieces of biological filter media which also physically remove larger particles from the water. Suitable for Tetra EX Plus and all other similar external aquarium canister filters.

Contents 800ml, suitable for use with aquariums up to 500 litres.

This highly active biological filtration has a large surface area (62cm² per ball) for growth of beneficial bacteria. Excellent water flow through the balls prevents clogging and ‘dead’ areas for maximum biological efficiency.

Tips:

• Rinse in lukewarm water before use.
• To clean rinse in a bowl of aquarium water, never wash under the tap.
• When replacing any Tetra filter media, we recommended the use of Tetra Filter Active to make sure that lost filter bacteria is quickly restored.
